For the first time ever the Longhorn Cattle society have decided to offer herd classification to the members.
The ‘Blackbrook’ Herd was assessed on July 14th 2017 by two classifiers Mr Meurig James & Mr Andrew Spicer.
The 23 cows 2nd calved & above, achieved 10 Excellent, 7 VG (Very Good) & 4 GP (Good Plus).
The 6 first calved Heifers achieved, 4 VG (with one achieving the maximum score of 89 points for a heifer), & 1 GP.
This was a tremendous achievement and a wonderful endorsement of our breeding programme here at ‘Blackbrook’.
Customers old & new can now have extra confidence when purchasing from the ‘Blackbrook Herd’.
